“A good orator is pointed and impassioned.”
And the best speakers also employ other techniques that invite an audience to listen – and act in a way that benefits the speaker.
Whether it's an audience of 5 or 500 – a marketing presentation or a keynote speech - Oratorio's program of "building blocks" shows professionals how to:
- Establish a personal presenting style.
- Improve gestures, voice projection and eye contact.
- Build self-confidence and conquer stage fright.
- Develop the argument.
- Tell persuasive stories.
- Master the teleprompter.
- Use a podium properly, eliminate it when possible.
- Make better introductions.
Content development is also a key element of Oratorio's training. We teach:
- The uses and abuses of PowerPoint.
- Working with notes.
- Creating and delivering a strong open and close.
- Dealing with Q&A's.
- Handling multicultural audiences.
All role-playing is videotaped at our facility or at the client's location, and clients receive detailed techniques and a DVD of the session for further review and practice.
